Daily Patterns

After a couple of stressful months I needed a drawing practice that was low-stakes (could be as simple or as complex as I wanted it to be), tactile (16 squares of BFK rag linen paper, mechanical pencil, black micron pens), and interesting enough to keep me returning to it (to see what patterns are created).

“Making Sense of the Days” by Laura Pensar, 2026: 16” x 16” ink and stitching on rag linen paper

And then I took three of the groupings and turned them into all-over repeating patterns…

Happy #ReleaseDay2026 friends! Thank you to Creative Mornings , Creative Quests , and Adobe for a month full of inspiring meet-ups and accountability. Can’t wait to see what we’ve all put out into the world!
